Communio Ltd specialise in end of life care and coronial services across New Zealand, one such service is the management of the Mortuary at Dunedin Hospital.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mortuary Technician to join our friendly and hardworking team at Dunedin Hospital Mortuary for a fixed period of 12 months. Communio are seeking a qualified Mortuary Technician with current APC registration to assist in the high-quality Coronial services it provides across the lower South Island. The successful candidate will be expected to assist in the post mortem activities within a small but dedicated team. The role also incorporates the provision of non-coronial services including perinatal autopsies and hospital tissue returns. The successful candidate will be supported by the Mortuary Services Manager and the wider Communio Team to promote practices that continually improve the experience of the tūpāpaku within their care and their whānau.
The successful applicant should have:
Working hours: 8am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday – for on-call cover would be required.
